“Here and After”
Here and After is the result of an intensive workshop led by Greek choreographer Athanasia Kanellopoulou in collaboration with the dancers of FWD in Iceland. The piece explores the body as a vessel for internal transformation, redefining the spatial dimensions we inhabit. Silences, gazes, bursts of energy, breaths, and sensory impressions form the core of this work.
The choreography delves into the construction and deconstruction of movement, emphasizing a deep understanding of inner and outer spaces, and the delicate interplay between movement and stillness, individuality and collective action, sound and silence. Here and After invites the audience to experience a passage through the many possibilities of live performance.
